NOTE: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the usual festivities will not be held in 2020.
The festivities of the municipal holiday starting on weekend closest to July 18, the date which marks the creation of the county (1514). On this date revealed to Nordeste thousands of strangers in search of the unique landscape of the county and the religious and cultural program involving these parties.
From June to September, all parishes promote their religious festivals, starting in the parish of Santo António de Nordestinho and closure in the parish of Salga.
In May and June, also celebrate the festivities of the Holy Spirit and St. John.
